Garage doors built for coastal conditions

    Salt air and corrosion

Salt speeds up corrosion on steel doors, springs, tracks and fixings. BlueScope offers Colorbond products for more severe coastal environments, including Colorbond Ultra and Colorbond stainless, and we'll advise on what suits your distance from the water.

Keeping a coastal door in good shape

Rinse the door and tracks with fresh water every three months to remove salt build-up, keep the bottom seal in good condition to stop sand getting in, and book a service once a year. Springs, cables and rollers wear faster near the water.

    Holiday homes

Holiday home owners: we can service your door between visits so it works when you arrive, and fit motors with battery backup so you're not locked out by a blackout.

How much does a garage door cost in the Mornington Peninsula?

We'd rather tell you upfront than make you call to find out.

Repairs and servicing: our call-out fee is $225, which includes the first half hour of labour. Each additional half hour is $85, and parts are extra. Counterweight doors and commercial jobs have a $300 call-out fee. Depending on your location, a travel fee may apply.

New doors: every door is made to suit your opening, so the price depends on the door type, size, material, insulation, motor and what's involved in removing your old door. A single Colorbond roller door is at the budget end; large insulated, timber-clad or custom doors cost more.

The quickest way to an exact price is a free measure and quote. You'll get a fixed written quote, and there's no obligation.
